Boy I'm a downer, aren't I? I've always thought I'd make a great Catholic or maybe a Puritan. My heritage, afterall, is rooted in New England Puritanism and austere Scottish Presbyterianism.
Does one really need justification for desiring a better world? Should one ignore the world and just celebrate Christmas? Ok , here you go.
Certainly gives one pause, eh?

I've been quite sustainable in my drinking. I don't think my gut will be passing through the eye of a needle any time soon. Now back to beer and football: the true meaning of Xmas.

I'm "carpooling" my presents. Christmas and Birthday will ride together especially since Birthday is so close to Christmas.
