Haiku on the contemporary experience of snow storms

They scream as their car
Slides helplessly into mine.
What terrible drivers.

Love this! It actually gets the spirit of the Japanese haiku quite beautifully. Have you ever read Robert Hass's beautiful essay "Images"? If no, I can get you a copy.
