Pine grove

In any case: eat your heart out flatlanders!

not only am I a (semi-) flatlander, but aside from in-town trees, which can be cool (like Live Oaks), the countryside is full of mostly just shrubbery--like big weed-trees all around inbetween the dry grassy areas. The hill country around Austin is better, but its basically just a giant hilly rich neighborhood now that it is all overdeveloped (practically a rule in Texas).

-Oh yeah!-
I disagree with the statement that the hill country is just a giant hilly rich neighborhood that is all overdeveloped.
I just spent a week in a nicely underdeveloped part of the hill country. The air is so sweet there.
