CoffeeGeek - Brewing Turkish Coffee

Ever since my work colleagues and I went out to the fancy new 9th & 9th Mazza last week, I've been hankering a Turkish Coffee--strong enough to put hair on your tongue. Making it, however, looks like a lot of tedious work with equipment I will never purchase: CoffeeGeek - Brewing Turkish Coffee.

Doesn't this actually kind of look fun? I would so be all over that equipment if I were you. It sounds like a great summer project, and you would seriously impress some woman with it, don't you think?

-Oh yeah!-

Buying coffee equipment to attract women sounds a bit too much like what a bower bird would do.

Ok, where do I buy such equipment?

Oh, I found you a good link:

http://www.turkishcorner.com/turkish-coffee-grinder.html

You can buy the ibrik and the grinder there for cheap cheap cheap. You can probably source Turkish roast coffee at Wild Oats (I'm positive I've seen it there) and you can get demitasse cups also almost anywhere now. I want a report if you decide to do it!

You can make turkish coffee with a pan, on the stovetop. The trick is grinding it (just in your regular home grinder--not at the store) for a long time, like 2 minutes. and making sure you have a turkish roast. they have it at wild oats.

Two things I need: 1) Environmentally sound vehicle with sporty looks but able to go camping at the drop of a tent pole; 2)Google to allow the strike tag back into their profile box. Do nothing evil, eh, Google? That's pretty damn evil.
